1. Services Provided
The Practitioner offers the following services:
- Online dietetic consultations
- Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness sessions (online or in person, subject to room availability)
- Block bookings
- Written educational resources, recipes, and digital materials
Online nutrition services are delivered via a third-party video call platform. Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness sessions may be delivered online or in person.
Services are intended for general wellbeing and/or dietetic support. They do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency healthcare.
2. Client Responsibilities
By engaging in services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete health, medical, and lifestyle information.
- Disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, medications, and history.
- Inform the Practitioner of any changes in your health status.
- Participate voluntarily and at your own discretion.
- Seek advice from your GP or relevant healthcare provider regarding:
- Medical conditions
- Medications
- Allergies
- Eating disorders
- Pregnancy-related concerns
- Urgent or worsening symptoms
You understand that the Practitioner cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from withheld or inaccurate information.
3. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required at least 48 hours before the scheduled session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- An invoice containing bank account details will be sent to you via email at the time of booking.
- The preferred payment method is direct bank transfer.
- All payments must be made in British Pound Sterling (GBP).
- Once purchased, a session or product must be used within 6 months of the purchase date.
4. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
You may cancel your purchase within 14 days of payment unless you request that services begin within this period.
By booking a consultation date within 14 days of purchase, you:
- Consent to the service beginning immediately, and
- Acknowledge that your right to cancel may be limited or lost once the service has been fully delivered.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellations Before the Consultation
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation: eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled consultation: non-refundable.
5.2 Missed Appointments
Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice is non-refundable.
5.3 Refunds After the Consultation
Once a consultation has taken place, refunds are not available unless the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5.4 Digital Content
By accessing or downloading personalised nutrition plans, written resources, or digital materials, you acknowledge that your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 is waived.
6. Rescheduling Policy
- Clients may reschedule a consultation once, with at least 48 hours' notice.
- Additional rescheduling requests may incur an administrative fee.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability.
7. Block Bookings
- Block bookings must be used within 6 months of purchase.
- Sessions within a block booking follow the same cancellation and rescheduling rules as individual sessions.
- Unused sessions after 6 months are non-refundable and non-transferable.
8. Health and Safety for Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness
For physical practices (yoga, meditation, mindfulness), you agree that:
- You are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.
- You will follow instructions carefully and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
- You will inform the Practitioner of any injuries, mobility limitations, or health concerns before the session.
The Practitioner is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or from undisclosed health conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- The Practitioner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- The Practitioner is not responsible for outcomes resulting from failure to follow advice, incomplete information, or non-compliance with medical guidance.
- Services are not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or emergency care.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All personal information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and relevant data protection laws. A separate Privacy Policy will outline how your data is collected, stored, and used.
11. Third-Party Platforms
Online sessions may be delivered via third-party video platforms. The Practitioner is not responsible for:
- Technical issues
- Platform outages
- Security or privacy issues arising from third-party services
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and suitable device.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, purchasing, or participating in any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
